Service Description
A private, one-to-one consultation for anyone experiencing thinning hair, partial or progressive hair loss, alopecia, medically related hair loss or changes that are affecting their confidence. Your consultation takes place in Spectrum Hair Boutique’s private Confidence Room, with time to discuss your concerns, hair-loss journey, lifestyle, preferred maintenance commitment, budget and the result you would ideally like to achieve. Amy will assess your natural hair and scalp within her professional scope, discuss suitable coverage and attachment options, and explain the benefits, limitations, maintenance requirements and expected investment associated with each appropriate solution. Depending on your individual needs, recommendations may include Signature Scalp, Spectrum Halo, mesh or meshless integration, integrated or removable toppers, custom wigs, partial hairpieces, fringe solutions or men’s hair systems. This is an exploratory consultation and does not commit you to ordering a system. Hair will not normally be fitted or ordered during the appointment unless the required assessment, measurements, colour matching, suitability checks and order details can be completed safely. The £50 consultation fee is redeemable against a bespoke hair system, topper, wig or integration service ordered through Spectrum Hair Boutique within 30 days of your consultation. Please note that this is a specialist hair and cosmetic solutions consultation, not a medical diagnosis. Where appropriate, Amy may recommend seeking advice from your GP, dermatologist, trichologist or another healthcare professional before proceeding.
Cancellation Policy
This confidential consultation is designed to assess your hair needs and explore potentially suitable cosmetic hair-loss solutions. It is not a medical consultation, and Spectrum Hair Boutique cannot diagnose the cause of hair loss or provide medical treatment. The £50 fee covers your specialist’s time, assessment, recommendations and discussion of suitable options, maintenance and estimated costs. It may be redeemed against a qualifying bespoke hair system, topper, wig or integration service ordered through Spectrum Hair Boutique within 30 days. The credit is non-transferable, has no cash value and cannot be used for maintenance, refits, retail products or unrelated salon services. A consultation does not guarantee suitability for a particular solution. Recommendations depend on your natural hair and scalp, hair-loss pattern, lifestyle, medical considerations, budget and ability to maintain the chosen option safely. Spectrum Hair Boutique may decline or delay a service if proceeding could be unsuitable or risk further damage. You must disclose relevant hair or scalp conditions, allergies, sensitivities, active irritation, broken skin, recent medical treatment and any existing extensions or systems. Sudden or unexplained hair loss, inflammation, infection, pain or broken skin may require assessment by a GP, dermatologist, trichologist or another healthcare professional before proceeding. Please arrive with your hair clean, dry and detangled, without fibres, root sprays, heavy oils or excessive styling products wherever possible. The consultation does not include fitting, removal, refitting, repairs, adhesive work or maintenance. Bespoke products will not be ordered until the final specifications have been approved, the relevant agreement accepted and the required deposit or balance paid. Custom-made products are subject to separate ordering and cancellation terms. Quotes are based on the specifications discussed and remain valid for the period shown. Prices may change if the requested length, density, colour, construction or attachment method changes. Late arrival may reduce your consultation time or require rescheduling. Cancellations, rescheduling and missed appointments remain subject to Spectrum Hair Boutique’s general booking and no-show policies. Clients under 18 must attend with a parent or legal guardian.
