Cancellation Policy

This specialist service is intended for clients wearing securely fitted hair extensions, integrated toppers or hair systems that are suitable for professional washing and heat styling. Before your appointment, you must disclose the type of extensions or system worn, the fitting method, when it was fitted or last maintained, and whether it was supplied or fitted by Spectrum Hair Boutique or another provider. Your extensions or system must be secure, in suitable condition and within its recommended maintenance period. Spectrum Hair Boutique may decline or adapt the service if there is excessive matting, tangling, shedding, exposed or slipping attachments, loose stitching, damaged bonds, adhesive breakdown, scalp irritation or any other concern that could make the service unsafe. This appointment includes careful cleansing, conditioning, detangling, cutting where agreed, blending and a professional blow-dry finish. It does not include extension or system removal, refitting, repositioning, tightening, adhesive removal, rebonding, repairs or general maintenance. Any additional work identified during the appointment may require a separate booking and charge. Washing and detangling can expose pre-existing deterioration, loose attachments, matting, shedding or damage that was not visible beforehand. Spectrum Hair Boutique cannot guarantee the quality, lifespan, colour stability or continued performance of extensions or systems supplied, fitted, altered or maintained by another provider. Clients are responsible for following the correct aftercare and maintenance schedule for their particular extensions or system. Spectrum Hair Boutique cannot accept responsibility for problems resulting from overdue maintenance, unsuitable homecare, excessive heat, product build-up, incorrect fitting, poor-quality additional hair or pre-existing damage. Cutting extension or system hair is permanent. The desired length, shape and blending will be agreed before cutting begins. Once the agreed hair has been cut, it cannot be restored to its original length. Please arrive on time and with your hair reasonably detangled. Additional time or corrective work caused by excessive matting, product build-up or overdue maintenance may incur an additional charge or require the appointment to be rescheduled. Spectrum Hair Boutique reserves the right to stop or refuse the service where continuing could risk damage to the client’s natural hair, scalp, extensions or system.
