Service Description
A private, personalised consultation for anyone considering a new set of professionally fitted hair extensions. Amy will assess your natural hair and scalp, discuss your desired length, volume and finished result, and recommend a suitable extension method based on your hair condition, density, lifestyle and maintenance commitment. Your consultation may include colour matching, an estimate of the hair required and a full quotation covering the extension hair, fitting and future maintenance. Spectrum Hair Boutique offers a specialist range of methods, including Genius Wefts, Machine Wefts, Nano Rings, I-Tips and Keratin Bonds. Not every method will be suitable for every client, and protecting the natural hair and scalp will always take priority. The £20 consultation fee can be redeemed against a qualifying new extension fitting booked within 30 days. It cannot be used against removals, refits, maintenance appointments, repairs, retail products or unrelated salon services. No extensions will be ordered until the recommended method and specifications have been approved and the required hair payment and fitting deposit have been received.
Cancellation Policy
This consultation is required before ordering or fitting a new set of hair extensions through Spectrum Hair Boutique. The £20 fee covers your specialist’s time, natural hair and scalp assessment, colour matching, method recommendation, maintenance guidance and preparation of your quotation. It may be redeemed against a qualifying new extension fitting booked within 30 days. The credit is non-transferable, has no cash value and cannot be used for removals, refits, maintenance, repairs, retail products or unrelated salon services. Booking a consultation does not guarantee suitability for extensions or for a particular method, length or weight. Recommendations will depend on the condition, strength and density of your natural hair, scalp health, hair-loss history, lifestyle, desired result and ability to follow the required maintenance schedule. Spectrum Hair Boutique may decline or postpone fitting where extensions could risk damage to the natural hair or scalp. Please arrive with your hair clean, dry, fully detangled and worn down. Avoid fibres, root sprays, coloured dry shampoo, heavy oils and temporary colour products, as these may affect assessment and colour matching. You must disclose relevant hair loss, scalp conditions, allergies, sensitivities, medications, recent chemical treatments, previous extension damage and any current or recently removed extensions. Active irritation, infection, broken skin, significant shedding, matting or unexplained hair loss may require medical or trichological advice before extensions can be considered. Colour matching is completed using the hair available during the appointment. Changes to your natural colour after the consultation may require a new match and could affect the price or ordering timescale. Human hair may contain natural tonal variation, and an exact match under every lighting condition cannot be guaranteed. Quotes are based on the method, length, colour and amount of hair agreed during the consultation. Changes to these specifications will change the final price. Extension hair will not be ordered until the specifications have been approved and the required payment has cleared. Hair ordered specifically for an individual client is subject to separate ordering and cancellation terms. Estimated delivery and fitting times are not guaranteed until supplier availability has been confirmed. If you wish to provide your own extension hair, this must be disclosed before booking.
