Service Description
A maintenance haircut completed on clean, completely dry hair without shampooing or blow-drying. This service is ideal for removing dry ends and maintaining your existing length, shape or established layers. It is not suitable for significant changes, complete restyles or hair requiring extensive preparation or detangling. Please arrive with your hair clean, dry, fully detangled, worn down and in its usual parting. Hair should not be tied up, heavily curled or covered in excessive styling products. A Straight & Smooth Finish or Curly Finish can be added during booking for an additional charge. This service is for natural hair only. Clients wearing extensions, integrated toppers or hair systems must select the appropriate specialist cutting service. Please note that Amy does not offer very short pixie cuts, barbering, skin fades or clipper-based styles.
Cancellation Policy
The Ladies’ Dry Trim is a maintenance service completed on clean, completely dry natural hair. It does not include shampooing, conditioning, blow-drying or heated styling unless an eligible finish has been selected and paid for as an add-on. Please arrive with your hair clean, dry, fully detangled, worn down and in its usual parting. Avoid arriving with wet or damp hair, tight ponytail marks, braids, heavy curls, excessive dry shampoo, root spray, oils or product build-up, as these can affect the accuracy of the cut. This appointment is intended to remove dry ends and maintain your existing length, shape and established layers. Significant length removal, a new fringe, major changes to layers or an entirely different shape must be booked as a Restyle Wash, Cut & Blow-Dry. The standard appointment allows 30 minutes. If the requested work cannot be completed safely within that time, the service may be adapted, charged as the appropriate service or rescheduled. Please send photographs before booking if you are unsure whether a Dry Trim is suitable. The Straight & Smooth and Curly Finish add-ons provide heated styling after the trim. They do not include shampooing or blow-drying and are not a substitute for arriving with clean, dry and detangled hair. This service is for natural hair only. Hair extensions, integrated toppers and hair systems require additional care and appointment time and must be booked under the appropriate specialist service. Spectrum Hair Boutique cannot cut concealed extensions or attachments under a standard Dry Trim booking. You must disclose any scalp condition, broken skin, active irritation, excessive shedding, matting, extensions or other concern that may affect the service. Spectrum Hair Boutique may postpone or decline cutting where continuing would be unsuitable or unsafe. Amy specialises in medium-to-long hairstyles and does not offer very short pixie cuts, barbering, skin fades or clipper-based styles. Please arrive on time. Late arrival may mean the service must be adapted or rescheduled to avoid affecting the next client. Cancellations, rescheduling and missed appointments remain subject to Spectrum Hair Boutique’s general booking and no-show policies. By booking, you confirm that your hair will be appropriately prepared and that you have selected a maintenance trim rather than a restyle.
