Service Description
A specialist root colour appointment for clients whose grey hair has previously been identified as resistant to standard colour coverage. Additional time is provided for careful formulation, thorough application and the development time required to achieve the best possible coverage on resistant grey regrowth. Colour is applied to up to approximately 2cm of natural root regrowth only. Your appointment includes shampooing, conditioning, a maintenance trim and professional blow-dry finish. THIS SERVICE DOES NOT INCLUDE: • Scalp bleach or root bleaching • Highlights, lowlights or any foil work • Balayage or lightening • Colour correction • Colour through the lengths and ends • A complete haircut restyle Please only select this service if Amy has identified or previously treated your hair as resistant grey. Simply having grey hair does not automatically mean this is the correct appointment. A valid allergy alert test and colour consultation record are required.
Cancellation Policy
This service is specifically for natural grey regrowth that has previously been identified as resistant to standard colour coverage. It is not required simply because grey hair is present. The service covers specialist tint application to up to approximately 2cm of natural root regrowth and includes additional formulation and development time, shampooing, conditioning, a maintenance trim and professional blow-dry finish. It does not include scalp bleach, highlights, lowlights, foils, balayage, colour correction, artificial colour removal or colour application through the lengths and ends. If your regrowth exceeds approximately 2cm, has developed banding or requires a different colour process, additional time and product may be required. The appointment may be adjusted, charged differently or rescheduled. The included trim maintains your existing length and shape. Significant changes to the length, layers or overall style require a separately booked restyle. A valid allergy alert test must be completed according to salon and manufacturer requirements. The service cannot proceed without the required test, even if you have previously used colour without a reaction. You must disclose allergies, sensitivities, scalp conditions, medication changes, pregnancy, recent medical treatment, previous colour reactions, home colour, henna, metallic salts and any products used on the hair. Although specialist formulation and additional development time improve coverage, completely opaque or permanent coverage of every resistant grey hair cannot be guaranteed. Results depend on hair condition, texture, previous colour and the individual resistance of the hair. Please arrive on time. Late arrival may require the trim or finish to be reduced or the appointment rescheduled. General cancellation and no-show policies apply. By booking, you confirm that Amy has recommended resistant grey coverage and that you do not require bleach, highlights, lowlights or foil work.
