This specialist service is for anyone experiencing significant tangling, knotting or matting who needs professional help getting their hair back to a manageable condition. Whether it happened gradually, following illness, reduced mobility, a difficult period in your life, difficulties maintaining your hair or for any other reason, you never need to feel embarrassed walking through our doors. You don’t owe us an explanation. Our priority is preserving as much of your natural hair and length as safely possible. Hair is carefully worked through section by section using professional products, appropriate techniques, patience and plenty of TLC. Cutting the hair is never automatically our first option. Your initial appointment includes • Up to 3 hours of professional dematting and detangling • Initial hair and scalp assessment • Professional detangling products • Careful section-by-section working • Breaks whenever you need them • Cleanse and conditioning treatment following successful detangling, where appropriate • Basic drying/finishing • Aftercare and prevention advice Pricing Initial 3-hour appointment: £105 Where additional dematting time is required: £17.50 per additional 30 minutes We will always discuss this with you before continuing beyond your booked appointment. Severe or extensive matting may require a longer appointment or more than one session. Completion within the initial three hours cannot be guaranteed. Full cutting, restyling, colour services, extension work and additional specialist treatments are not included and can be discussed separately. Before your appointment All dematting bookings are request-to-book and must be approved before being confirmed. You will be asked to complete a short assessment form and provide clear photographs of your hair. This allows us to reserve an appropriate amount of time and give you an indication of what may be required. Photographs are treated sensitively and are used for assessment purposes. ❤️ No judgement.
