Service Description
A specialist personalisation appointment designed to make a suitable wig feel more individual to you. Amy will assess the cap fit, positioning, hairline, parting, density and existing shape before discussing the most suitable finished style. The wig will then be carefully cut and shaped around your face. This may include refining the length, softening the outline, creating or adjusting a fringe, adding suitable shaping and completing a professional finished style. The £85 fee covers the fit assessment, cutting, personalisation and styling of one suitable wig. This service does not include the wig itself, colouring, bleaching knots, lace replacement, ventilation, major cap reconstruction, adding hair, extensive density reduction or repairs. Human-hair and synthetic wigs behave differently. Heat can only be used where the wig manufacturer confirms that the fibre is heat-safe.
Cancellation Policy
This service covers the fit assessment, cutting, shaping and styling of one suitable wig. The wig itself is not included. The £85 fee covers up to one hour and 30 minutes. It does not include colouring, bleaching knots, ventilation, lace replacement, major cap alterations, adding hair, extensive density reduction, repairs or correction of a severely damaged wig. Wigs purchased elsewhere must be disclosed and may require assessment before the appointment is approved. Spectrum Hair Boutique cannot guarantee the quality, fit, colour stability, fibre behaviour, lifespan or construction of externally supplied wigs. Please bring the wig clean, dry and fully detangled. Human-hair wigs and synthetic wigs respond differently to cutting, washing and heat. Heated tools will only be used where the fibre has been confirmed as heat-resistant. Wig cutting is permanent. The proposed length, fringe, shape and style will be agreed before cutting begins. Once wig hair or fibre has been cut, it cannot be restored. The achievable result depends on the wig’s cap fit, construction, density, fibre, existing shape and compatibility with the requested style. An exact copy of an inspiration photograph or a completely undetectable result cannot be guaranteed. Where the cap does not fit correctly or the wig requires structural work, Amy may recommend alteration, replacement or another service rather than proceeding with cutting. Clients experiencing scalp irritation, broken skin or sensitivity must disclose this before the wig is fitted or styled. Please arrive on time. Late arrival may reduce the cutting or styling that can be completed or require rescheduling. General cancellation and no-show policies apply. By booking, you understand that this service personalises one suitable wig and does not include the wig or structural alterations.
